Keeping Up with Rory

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big HUGE Gilmore Girls fan. I've seen every episode, every season, several times. It's definitely right up there as one of my all-time favorite shows; I can't tell you how many times I've caught myself wishing I lived in Stars Hollow among the quirky townspeople that form an eccentric extended family of sorts. I mean, who wouldn't want to visit the gazebo, Luke's diner, the Black White & Read theatre... sit in on the borderline-absurd town meetings, spend a weekend at the Dragonfly Inn. Mix in the fast-paced, witty dialogue and a whole lot of eye candy as far as male love interests go... I could go on and on, but I digress. Because, for those of you who have never seen the show, this probably isn't making a whole lot of sense. And honestly, this post was initially meant to be about Alexis Bledel, who played Rory Gilmore on the show. Lately I've been seeing photos of her popping up at various events and I have to say I'm so excited to be seeing her out and about. I adore her, not only because of the show but because she's just so classy. I loved every single one of the looks she was photographed in recently. She is definitely one to watch, style-wise! I do hope we'll be seeing more pictures of her in the near future!

So, now I have to ask -- any Gilmore Girls fans out there? I guarantee this will not be the last you'll hear about the show on this blog. Everyone could use a little bit of Gilmore in their life :]

As always, a big thank you to everyone who has been reading and commenting ♥

OMG I am a HUGE fan of this show! My mom and I watched it all the time together and it was always our "thing". And I completely agree that Alexis is very classy. I like her looks here as well, but my favorite would have to be the third. Everything about her in that picture, from the hair, to her outfit and accessories is working! Thanks for a GG post!!
Bisous!

All of my best friends loove Gilmore Girls but I never got into it. I even have seasons 1, 2, and 3 on my shelf (one of my friends hoped to get me into it by gifting it to me) but never have. So is this another recommendation to watch it? I may finally have to at this point :)

Wellll to be honest, Rory was kind of annoying through Gilmore Girls. I always though Laurelei (is that how you spell it? probably not) was kickass, though.

I loved her in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the Bride and Prejudice though (Indian English movie, you should really give it a watch!).

I saw that NYFW pic of hers with those amazing red heels :O Sigh. LOOVE.

Really Arushi? I never once found Rory annoying, I loved everything about her and Lorelai's characters! I've seen Bride and Prejudice too, such a cute film.

Thank you for the comments girls! xo

Gilmore girls! My best friend loves it lots as well. I never had the chance to watch the show, but "Rory" does have a lovely style. Classic and elegant. And she looks so young!
